Or bring your notes in.
PDF, Word, EPUB, Markdown, LaTeX and pictures all work.
Your notes are too big to save in this browser. Download them so you don't lose them.

Putting notes on a TI-84 Evo
- Type your notes, paste them, or open a file. The calculator screen next to your notes shows them exactly the way your Evo will.
- Plug in your Evo with its USB cable, turn it on, and click Send to calculator. Use Chrome, Edge or Firefox on a computer.
- On your Evo, press
prgm, then2for the Python App. Arrow to your note's name (the one the Sent box shows) and pressenter.upanddownscrollleftandrightmove a page at a timeclearexits
Don't see the Python App?
A full memory reset removes it. Follow our reinstall guide first, then come back and send your notes again.
Tips
- Headings: use Heading (or start a line with
#) and it shows as a blue heading on the calculator. - More than one note: each note is its own program, named from its title. Give each note its own title. Sending a note with a name that's already on the calculator replaces it.
What types of files can I import?
Paste from Google Docs, Word or a web page, or open a PDF, Word file, EPUB book, Markdown or LaTeX file.
- PDFs come in as text you can edit.
- Word files and Google Docs keep their headings, lists, bold text and tables.
- Books: import an EPUB, or a story downloaded as EPUB, HTML or PDF. A long book goes over in parts.
How do I add a formula?
Type it the way you would on the calculator, like x = (-b+/-sqrt(b^2-4ac))/(2a).
The Evo shows text only, so that is how every formula looks on it. Math you paste from a web page, a
Word file or a chat turns into the same kind of text. The calculator screen shows how each one will
look.
Can I add pictures?
No. The Evo's Python App shows text only, so a picture shows up as [picture]. To put
words there instead, click the picture, then Text for the Evo.
How much can I fit in one note?
About 90 to 100 screens. Screens full of long paragraphs fill it sooner. A longer note gets a Split it into parts button under Send to calculator, and each part goes as its own program.
How do I delete a note from my calculator?
Press prgm, then 2 for the Python App. Arrow to your note, press the key
under MANAGE (the last of the five keys under the screen), press 2 for
Delete Program, then enter for YES.
Delete this note in Your notes removes a note from this browser, not
from your calculator.
"Send to calculator" isn't working?
Sending works in Chrome, Edge or Firefox on a computer. If your computer blocks it, use Download to send it later.

Putting notes on a TI-84 Plus CE
- Type your notes, paste them, or open a file.
- Check them on the calculator screen next to your notes. It shows them exactly the way your CE will.
- Plug in your CE with its USB cable, turn it on, and click Send to calculator.
How do I open the notes on my TI-84 Plus CE?
Your notes open in PLEXNOTE, the CalcPlex notes app. When they're sent, the page tells you how to start PLEXNOTE on your calculator.
upanddownscroll, leftandrightturn a pageenterlists your headings so you can jump to one2ndthenupordowngoes to the top or bottomcleargoes back to your list of notes
What is PLEXNOTE?
The CalcPlex notes app for the CE. Formulas look the way your textbook prints them, with real fractions, square roots and chemical equations, and pictures show in color. The text is set in a font made to be easy to read on a small screen. If PLEXNOTE isn't on your calculator yet, Send adds it along with your notes.
Do I need to jailbreak my TI-84 Plus CE?
If it has OS 5.5 or later, yes, before it can run PLEXNOTE. Send checks yours, and if it needs one, our jailbreak installer walks you through it.
What types of files can I import?
Paste from Google Docs, Word or a web page, or open a PDF, Word file, EPUB book, Markdown or LaTeX file, or a picture.
- PDFs come in as text you can edit. Formulas in a PDF are kept as pictures so they look exactly like the page. A scan comes in as pictures of its pages, and for a short PDF the page offers that too.
- Word files and Google Docs keep their headings, lists, bold text and tables.
- Books: import an EPUB, or a story downloaded as EPUB, HTML or PDF. A long book goes over in parts, and each chapter heading shows up in PLEXNOTE's heading list.
How do I add a formula?
Click Formula, or type it in LaTeX between dollar signs, like
$\frac{a}{b}$ or $x^2$. Math you paste from a web page, a Word file or a chat
comes across as math too. The calculator screen shows how each formula will look.
How do I add pictures?
Paste a screenshot, or import a photo of a diagram or a periodic table, and PLEXNOTE shows it on the CE in color.
How much can I fit in one note?
If a note is more than one note can hold, the page says so under Send to calculator, and Split it into parts turns it into notes that each fit. With your CE plugged in, it checks against the room on your calculator.
How do I delete a note from my calculator?
In PLEXNOTE, press del on the note in your list, then enter to delete it
(clear keeps it).
Delete this note in Your notes removes a note from this browser, not
from your calculator.
"Send to calculator" isn't working?
Sending works in Chrome or Edge on a computer. If your computer blocks it, use Download and send all the files in the zip with TI Connect CE.
Nothing listed in the connect popup: the calculator has to be plugged in and switched on to appear. Wake it up, check the USB cable (charge-only cables won't work), or move to a different port. Close any other tab that's using the calculator.
